If there was ever a time you need a batch made cocktail to have on hand, this is your season. Perfect, if, like me, you are never ready when your guests arrive, just make this in advance and have it ready to go in the fridge so you can pour them a glass and they can keep you company in the kitchen while you put the finishing touches together.
Ice is crucial, and an orange slice is all the jhooz you need (or maybe a cranberry if you are feeling extra festive). Apart from that just pour and enjoy.

25ml red or sweet Vermouth
50-75ml Prosecco
ice & an orange slice
Directions
- Pour the Campari and the Sweet Vermouth in a tall glass or wide tumbler over a good amount of ice and give it a stir.
- Add the Prosecco and garnish (a fresh cranberry or two in here would also be very festive)

Notes
- For a batch, combine 250ml Campari and 250ml Sweet Vermouth in a jug or bottle. Keep chilled in the fridge for a week or so and use with reckless abandon, topping up with Prosecco or soda (for an Americano) as needed.
