In Conversation With Jim Lahey

I am thrilled to announce my next In Conversation With the inimitable Jim Lahey, two time James Beard Award Winner of Sullivan Street Bakery fame, bestselling author and the genius behind the No Knead Bread Recipe, one of the most popular recipes ever in the New York Times.

Please join me on Wednesday 30th October at 7pm to welcome Jim to London to celebrate the launch of his 15th Anniversary Edition of My Bread: The Revolutionary No-Work No-Knead Bread Method, including some new recipes to add to his original bestseller that changed how we bake bread at home. I am thrilled to welcome him for an intimate evening of conversation and celebration as Jim tells us all about his journey from sculpture to bread and “the miracle of turning a gluey mess into something beyond terrific”.

Following our chat there will be plenty of time to sample some the recipes from My Bread, enjoy a glass of wine and meet Jim. Copies of the 15th Anniversary edition including some new delectable additions will be available to purchase and personally signed on the night.

Tickets to the event at my home in Central London are £30 each and available to book on the events page of Building Feasts (or simply click here).  The address will be sent out with confirmation of booking.  Places are limited so please do not hesitate.

I am so looking forward to sharing this fun filled and inspiring evening together.

“Jim is the acknowledged master of bread, dough and crust.  Chess. foodies and food nerds flock to his bakery and to his pizza joint.  He is to bread what the Dali Lama is to Buddhism.”  Anthony Bourdain

“The secret to baking a foolproof, nearly labor-free loaf that tastes as delicious as anything from a baker…..[Jim Lahey] is the most intuitive bread baker I have ever met” Jeffery Steingarten, Vogue
